Kilts, Knives, and the Princess Bride

Well, last weekend was my birthday celebration. As per usual, I went to the Gathering of the Scottish Clans with some of my friends, and it was a blast -- again, as usual. There were lots of tartans (Scottish clan plaids), men in kilts, weird booths, cool knives, and a duck on a leash. G.C. and I each bought a knife (I actually got two) and my friend T.H. bought a beautiful Celtic necklace. 'Twas very fun! We also roasted hot dogs and s'mores at my grandparents' house, and I got several awesome movies: The Avengers, The Hunger Games, The Princess Bride, and The Eagle. (They all start with 'the.' Hmm.) Also got a ton of Doctor Who books and my Smallville books are on the way!! So excited!! :D Got the novel form of The Princess Bride too. And my friend N.B. gave me a fez! Like the one the Doctor wears! Yay! So yes, my 17th birthday was marvellous, and I even managed to sell 21 books at my two book signings (one at the Gathering, and one at a school). God is good, my friends! Now if I can only ace my AP Bio test ...
